Membership Dues Amounts

Dues pie chart

Dues that include pre-paid meals are $80/month. This includes the weekly meals at our Thursday meeting.

Dues that do not include pre-paid meals are $30/month. This is designed for members who cannot regularly attend Thursday meetings but want to be involved with service projects and evening/weekend events. When you are able to come to a Thursday meeting and want a meal, we ask you pay $15 each time for the meal.

Donor membership dues are $110+/month, with any amount over $80/month being tax deductible. Donor members are welcome at all meetings (which includes lunch), projects, and events. This level is designed for members who are able to contribute more to help fund our club and the many projects we support each year. This is separate from donations that members may make monthly to the Rotary Foundation and PolioPlus.

Why Join Rotary?

Jean WakelyJean Wakely

I joined Rotary shortly after my daughter returned from her Student Exchange year in Poland.  Rotary has expanded my family's view of the world.  I have had the privilege of meeting and working in service with our local business and community leaders.  It has sharpened my skills as a business person.  Being in an active leadership club has been a powerful experience that reaches out into the community and abroad.

For me, Northfield Rotary represents a beacon of hope. In ways both big and small, it invites us to act on our best instincts to make this a better world. Its commitment to improving people’s lives and promoting recognition of our shared humanity aligns perfectly with my own values. Its focus on fighting disease, promoting education and good maternal-infant care, building local economies and saving the planet is an agenda worth my investment. We must leave this world better than we found it, and Rotary is the perfect vehicle for making that happen.

My real estate manager Rachel VanDenBoom introduced me to Rotary. I was immediately attracted to the community engagement and international connections. In this Rotary Club I've found the people to be amazingly kind, the causes profoundly crucial, and our combined efforts deeply impactful. I have found a home for my service goals in Rotary.

I joined because my father, a long time Rotarian, told me that "Rotary does important work in the world, while growing new friendships at home.  And it's a fun group!"  In my years as a Rotarian, I have found this to be absolutely true!
